we are on vacation and i love being in the "relaxed, out of routine state". yesterday, we visited one of my all time favorite churches -- elevation church in charlotte, nc. i love this church because they are not traditional and they are out of the box; however, true to God's word and doctrine. i do love the traditional church, but we do live in another decade--it is time to step it up! i follow elevation church's website (elevationchurch.org) and the pastor's wife's blog very often. i can so relate to them, because my husband thinks out of the box like pastor steven. holly (the pastor's wife) is about my age and she has two boys the same age as mine -- we can relate.
today, i focused a bit on other moms in my quiet time. i really praise the Lord for surrounding me with lots of mentors and other moms to help in this joyous journey of motherhood.
i also want to praise my God for who He says He is. i thank Him for transforming my mind on who i thought He was. my ignorance, and my dependence on what man says, has warped my view on God. i am learning how not to understand everything God does and just focus on who He says He is.
