every since we moved to dunn, both sides of our family comes to our home for thanksgiving. i get so excited to have everyone at our home. i decorate early for christmas and do some deep winter cleaning. (something about people coming over just motivates me to clean more than normal). anyways, my mom and joey's mom brings our favorite sides and desserts. joey and i do the meat, tea, and bread. this year, joey decided to do cornished hens. we had a great lunch. layed around and talked and laughted and napped...then, as always, well since we have had children, we head down to see the meadow christmas lights. we ride the choo choo train and enjoy the christmas lights. then, we go into the homemade candy store and buy what we do not need. just pure fun!! then, we say all our good byes to our families and off they go. we come back home, put the boys to bed and watch a good movie. this year is not very good because i am blogging right now during the movie. hahaha!!
