yes, we just returned from a time of rest & relaxation! had such a wonderful time w/my love & our boys. we kept our plans simple & it was just perfect! not only has the Lord challenged me w/my faith, but He is also challenging me w/a more simple life! our culture, our friends, our co-workers, etc....have set a very bad picture. busy, busy, busy.....& forgetting the important things in life. our Jesus & our family -- especially husband & children. so easy 2 b involved n church activities, sports, dance, PTA, cookouts, even household jobs.....
it all can be used by SATAN himself 2 destroy the very things God created 4 His glory & good!
the truth I am want more than anything is 2 be focused on loving God & loving others! all the extra STUFF does not matter! in order for this 2 become truth, I have 2 say NO 2 things that get in the way of loving God & loving others! I also realize my God will have 2 strip some things from my life -- spiritually & materially! at this point n my walk, I can truly say, God, whatever You need 2 do, just DO IT! i'm excited 2 see my Jesus work. i want HUGE, AUDACIOUS faith -- nothing safe!
