Colors of Fall

Fall is a beautiful, unique, colorful time of year!

I love my windows wide open & having the fresh air fill our home! (not 2 mention a break n the electricity bill). So many things to enjoy like sitting on the patio, more than normal, w/a good cup of coffee. Love to spend time w/my Jesus on the patio early in the mornings when you need a blanket ;). Of course, one reason I love homeschooling is we are finished with school before lunch & we can head to the park for a picnic! I love football on tv! Nothing like football & a good nap on a Sunday afternoon! One of my favorite things to do in the fall is have lots of cookouts! We have a couple already on the calendar & I cannot wait -- just sitting around the yard & laughing & sharing w/wonderful friends God has given us!

Fall does bring simple pleasures ... Like the leaves changing colors! So awesome how God created change & it look so beautiful! I have to remind myself of this truth in our life during our upcoming changes. God paints such a perfect, beautiful picture in each of our lives as we obey His will. At times, I don't like change, because I'm so schedule oriented. However, the more flexible I become, the more real God is to me. He is teaching me to enjoy the simple things through the changes in my life. Everything is beautiful in His time -- just like the season of Fall.

Lord, u know how much I love fresh air blowing in our kitchen window....be the air I breathe, be the song I sing, be my season. Yes, the season of life I am in now...Fall...w/all it's changes. You never change & You are THE only Hope.
