So as many of u know God has taken us on a new direction on our life journey! (church planting)
This journey has been amazing & scary -- excited & sad...
Anyways, we have had 2 make alot of changes n our life. One change was 2 simplify Christmas even more than we had been doing n the past. This was hard, but it has also been the BEST Christmas! Little 2 no shopping was done. Taking out the busy part really helps us celebrate WHO'S bday it is. Love seeing our boys understand that truth too.
We only do gifts 4 immediate fam & we did fam pics this year. Little more of a sacrifice on the pocket book, but took the scurrying around away! The feeling of simplicity is so peaceful 2 the soul.
Alot of ppl like 2 spoil our boys w/goodies, but we r trying hard 2 keep their little minds focused. I am beyond thankful 4 all the blessings!
Help us, Lord, not just remember its Your bday, but 2 exercise actions 2 show it is Your bday!
