PROVE ME

Prove Me...

Never completely understood these words by my Lord until this journey of church planting began 2 unfold.

I remember exactly 1 yr ago, my husband knew God was calling him 2 plant a church. Joey was wrestling w/God's call. He asked the Lord 2 prove Himself n 2 areas n addition 2 scripture. Joey asked 4 a name 4 the church plant & a music man (we all know Joey & he cannot lead music even 2 "make do" ha!)! Within days God gave the name Restoration through the same scripture of the calling: Isaiah 42. This past wked, God confirmed a music man!!!!! BOOMBOOM! Just let me say, we have both been so excited, words could never describe. Nevertheless, the last 6 mths have been "PROVE ME" moments week after week.

God has already brought 30 adults & 10 children 2 Restoration Church & the church is not yet "official". We prayed 4 ppl who love God & want 2 learn how 2 lead & reproduce leaders. God just keeps sending these type of ppl. It is exciting as we begin mtg wkly n 2012, the body will not only grow n number but also maturity. These first steps r important as we go out & fight 2 rescue the lost.

With all the excitement, there has also been a bitter-sweetness. We only have a few more days w/our 1derful CBC family. It is such a honor 2 b a part of this church 4 nearly 9yrs. They all have played such a HUGE part n this journey. Their love & support has helped keep us strong & focused. It is so exciting 2 share all the unfolding details w/a family who loves so much! As we leave as a church plant of CBC, we feel we can accomplish much 4 eternity!

Again, the words "prove me", ring as we wait on the selling of our home. The last 3 mths have been slow w/a few lookers but no offers. There is a family from our church who desires our home, yet awaits the selling of their home. We r leaving all these details n God's hands b/c I cannot comprehend it all! We r house shopping n the se g'boro area, but not found THE 1 4 us! My parents r willing 4 us 2 live w/them 4 a short while. They have been telling others they r praying about taking n a missionary family! LOL. They crack me up!

Love this faith journey! Could not imagin another type life!

Continue 2 pray as we need: 2 sell our home; raise more financial support; & confirm our next location of restoration church!
