life change

this week has brought about a lot of life change in our family. my routine self is trusting God and enjoying the ride...

last sunday, our cbc family, gave us an outpouring of love as we celebrated 8 1/2 yrs of service to Jesus in dunn. we were blown away at the love given to our family. what a sweet and memorable time. we will forever be grateful for the staff and church family of cbc. we give God glory for great things He has done.

this past week definitely was completely out of routine. joey worked from his home office (which i converted from a closet). had to program our 2 boys that daddy had to work and we had to do school. then wednesday and sunday came and we were not at cbc worshipping with all we have known for the last 9 yrs. honestly, it was a weird feeling. i missed everyone so much. however, we filled our time w/attending the orange code revival at elevation church in charlotte. God is doing HUGE things there and it was so neat to soak it in and grow! we also had the opportunity to worship Jesus with my parents at their church which we have only done a couple times since we married. loved seeing God work at their church.

this past saturday night we had our restoration church gathering. so encouraged as my pastor husband spoke on faith. we are learing a lot about faith on a whole nother level lately. the body that makes up restoration is soaking it in and it is so exciting!!!!!

many of you have wondered if we have moved to greensboro yet....no, not yet. our home in dunn has not sold. we live in dunn during the week and with my parents on the weekend as we serve at restoration church. we are asking God to sell our home quickly. we are also asking God to provide jobs for many of the core team of restoration so they can relocate to greensboro as well.

life change is not easy, but when you obey God, it is the best thing ever. it is so amazing to experience His best. through all this life change, i am thankful my heavenly Father has not changed. not to mention the stead fast love of wonderful friends.
