days ahead

days ahead consist of fun summertime memories. i love this season. lots of outside time. which those of u that know me well, know we stay outside. i love the feel of being extra relaxed. we follow a schedule, yet it is relaxed. we start our day w/ chores and a short school review, then it is all fun 4 the rest of the day! we r soaking n every moment this summer. our family will not go on an elaborate vacay, but we will b going 2 the pool, park, camping, play dates, art projects, library visits, MOVING., etc...(yes, i said moving--i'm claiming that we will b moving). sept is our official start 2 the new church plant God has called us to, & i'm asking God 2 get us 2 gso permanently b 4 sept. learning 2 live n the moment, i'm super excited about using every day this summer 4 furthering the gospel -- through my personal walk, my marriage, my parenting, my errands, my social functions, & anything else God gives as an opportunity. let's get real, it is easy 2 get so focused on self during the summer. we tend 2 take a break from the norm routine. we often feel we deserve a break. we get comfortable w/ our fam & fav friends. however, God has given us time. yes, time is short. we r not promised 2morrow. r we using the time God gives us 4 the gospel or 4 ourselves? what does your summertime vision look like? r u focused on self or how u can use the summer 2 spread the gospel n different ways?
