Quiet

Quiet....a word that rings very real to me today. The summer has come and gone like a flash. However, many memories were made with my sweet family and friends. Returning from Africa and moving in a home and lots of pool days and lots of travels filled our summer memories! Now I sit in the quiet today. Yes that time has come when our youngest has started school. What an adjustment after 8 years of being home with our boys. Time flies is an understatement. So many changes have happened in our life in the last 2 years I almost don't know what a normal routine is like anymore. I would not trade the ride for anything. Our family has grown so much. God is so good ALL the time. Every season of our lives has been so exciting! Of course every season has it's hard times too. I'm learning the hard times are really not that hard when I keep my eyes on the bigger picture. As I reflect in the quiet, God reminds me my time is short with our boys, our time is short on earth. May I give maximum glory to my Savior by pointing others to Him through my life. May I be all the more intentional in this season of my life. Quiet is good. Be still and know that He is God.
