Restoration Recap

So hard 2 believe Restoration Church is 1 month old!?!!! WOW! God is doing amazing works & bringing amazing ppl n 2 our lives! Our grand opening service on sept 9 was just a glimpse of all God is doing n this community! We had over 280 ppl n attendance! We were n awww of family & friends who came 2 support us! They have all meant so much the last year or so! However, the most exciting thing was God saved 4 souls! Life change is what it is all about! This past month we have averaged 100/150 ppl & we r just soaking n getting 2 know ppl & doing life 2gether! We r blessed 2 have a team of ppl @ RC who r ready 2 conquer this city 4 the Savior! We bless the name of the Lord daily 4 the team He has brought 2 spread His name! Now as we conti 2 organize & adjust our our processes & new volunteers, we conti 2 ask God 4 wisdom each step! He has been so faithful 2 us! Many have asked about our vacay home n Dunn! Lol well, it has not sold yet, but we r trusting n God! His timing is PERFECT. We conti 2 b gr8ful 4 friends like family who allow us 2 live n their RV! It has really been glorious! Ppl have been worried about me living n an RV for 6wks....do I look that high maintenance! Hahaha!!!! I'm beginning 2 like it better than a house! So simple & sweet! Cookouts, walks, woods, playsets, campfires, s'mores, grillin, etc...these r daily practices not just once n a while! It's gr8! God is so good ;)))) So this past Sunday, Joey preached on Luke 19. Zacchaeus was a wee little man & a wee little man was he.... (Yes u will not b able 2 get that out of your head)! Lol. God teaches us an amazing truth in this passage about loving & living authentically w/ppl! 1. Jesus saw him. Zac was small & not liked by any1. He got n a tree 2 c Jesus & Jesus took notice of him. Who do we see daily. Do we take notice of them & look them n the eye. Give them value. Or r we so busy & task oriented that we have no clue. 2. Jesus spoke 2 him. He called him by name & carried on a conversation w/him. When u c ppl, do u call them by name. Ask how their day is? How about the grocery cashier; the gas station cashier; bank teller; etc....all these ppl have a soul. Love the challenge 2 frequent the same places & get 2 know the ppl who serve u n these areas & others! 3. Jesus sat & ate w/him. He told Zac he was coming 2 his house 2 eat. Do we designate time 2 invite ppl over. Not our besties all the time....get out of our comfort zone & really get 2 know ppl. So important 2 do life w/others. How r u doing? One of our values @ RC is 2 live/love authentically. Real ppl w/real problems loving Jesus 2gether! Thankful 4 Jesus' example! The end result: Zac was saved & his whole household. Now that's worth seeing; speaking; & sitting with others!
