Anguish vs Joy

So God is teaching me the meaning of having anguish & joy @ the same time! I'm n the middle of the Beth Moore bible study of James. Last night it all came so clear 2 me. I knew when God started us on this church plant journey, it would not b stable & rosey all the time. However, I've actually come 2 enjoy the unstable & hard ride @ times. My joy is n a person -- Jesus Christ. Even though I many experience anguish @ the same time...whether physical, mental, etc... The opposition has been so strong n our core team since we launched Restoration Church the first of sept. I, personally, faced broke toes, car accident, & hurt back. Through it all, Jesus has sustained as my joy. My anguish physically was horrible, my anguish 4 ppl 2 know Christ has grown. Yet, I'm learning joy & anguish can co-exist. Anguish always leads 2 the birth of something glorious. As a woman, my hearts desire is 2 b spiritually mature n the anguish time so it does not cover up the joy. Jesus. May my flesh die daily! Love that the joy giver is JOY @ He sustains even n anguish.
