Restoration Recap from Pastor Joey

The Lord has been doing amazing things around us at Restoration Church the past few weeks. Since the Launch of Restoration Church in September < God has saved 13 people < We have 14 people awaiting baptism < We have been discipling those new converts on a weekly basis. < We have had new guests every Sunday. < We have collected 86 boxes for operation Christmas Child. < We have had nearly 40 children in Restoration Kids. < We have served numerous meals to individuals, fire fighters, and schools. < We have provided 100 book bags for needy children in local schools. < We have volunteers at the local schools almost everyday of the week. Please pray for us as we lead the church in the new year with a 21 day fast that will lead into the start of our small groups at the end of January. Also, pray that the Lord will send us a detailed person that can help with the every day operations of the church. I was led into the grocery store last week by the Lord. I did not need anything and did not have a list from Nicole to purchase anything. So I began to walk the aisle to see who God had led me to see. As I walked the aisle, a lady I had never met said "Hello". I replied as if I knew her. She said you don't know me but I see you everyday at the school as you direct traffic. She said thank you for what you do, which opened the door for me to share briefly how our church cares for our community. As, I was leaving I also felt led to buy some apples. As I was paying for those she came in the same line behind me and I purchased her groceries. She was so overwhelmed, and with tears in her eyes she expressed her thankfulness and how she has never experienced anything like that. From that day on her and her daughter wave and smile in the car line and have promised to visit Restoration Church. On the Sunday before Thanksgiving we did a "reverse offering" and handed out $5 bills along with a card that says "Because God has freely given to us we want to give you a free gift to let you know that we love and care for you." We gave out 162 of these from the youngest child to the oldest adult and asked each person to post on the church Facebook page on how it was used. The response of the people who gave and received has been overwhelming! We know that without your help and support this could not be accomplished. Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. It is amazing to see all that God is doing in and through Restoration Church. We are honored and humbled to serve Jesus along side of you!
