Update on the Baynes
Here is an update on the Baynes bunch....we r all doing gr8! As many of u know we moved bk 2 Gso 7mths ago 2 begin a brand new church from scratch, Restoration Church! It has been the hardest, craziest, best ride yet! God has chosen 2 do very impossible acts w/us personally & His church. We r seeing much growth & lots of life change. We meet @ Alamance Elem Sch n SE Gso every sun morn @ 10am. We just recently began small groups offered different nights if the wk n several locations! Love this step of getting 2 know the beautiful ppl God brings 2 RC! Personally, we have not sold our home bk n Dunn. We have been waiting 17mths, however, we wait knowing God's plan is best! We have been living n some friend's RV @ hagan stone park for 7mths & it has been a fun adventure. I will say I have longed 2 have a house again recently, but I think it came from being kept up from the cold & wet. We have had beautiful days lately & it helps 2 conti 2 b patient. This stage is so small n the big picture of HIS story! And, this stage has offered many laughs. Caleb is attending school & loving every minute! I'm so thankful God has provided Caleb 2 attend Vandalia Christian where we attended. I'm so proud of the progress of the school since we were students. Our Jacob is as adventurous as ever. I'm working w/him @ home w/simple preschool things. He will begin k-5 n the fall. We r really enjoying our one on one time! There is not a day that passes that he does not makes us laugh. I feel 4 his teachers! Lol. We have loved being bk near family & friends. So many have welcomed us w/open arms! A lot has changed n almost 10yrs of being gone, but we love reconnecting w/so many ppl. When I look bk over the last 13yrs of our marriage, it is so evident that every single day & every person God brings n 2 your life is 4 a purpose. Family, friends, different connections, have all played a vital role in our story right now. To think what the future holds is sooooo exciting! I am currently planning 4 my missions trip 2 Uganda this may. I will b gone for 18days. Crazy that God clearly opened the door 4 me 2 go knowing this country has been on our heart 2 adopt. I'm excited yet overwhelmed. It cost $4000 to go & I don't even have $1000 raised. I wrestled w/God about this $$$ thing. We asked ppl 4 support for 2yrs for our church plant & I didn't want 2 ask ppl for any more money. God clearly showed me AGAIN that when He calls, He provides & it's NOT 4 me 2 b worried. 3yrs ago He taught me how 2 ask 4 HUGE things & I can't stop asking now. There is 2 much @ stake. I want His glory 2 b HUGE & lives 2 b changed. That's the only reason we r here. It's easy 2 think we r here 2 work & pay bills, have a family, etc...but it's not. Those r just side notes n HIS story. Through all the days that have past n the last couple yrs, I pray I've learned what the bigger picture really is. To all those who read these words & have prayed & supported us, thank u cannot describe our appreciation or feelings. All glory 2 Him 4 making His name famous! Love u all!
