Wait.

Waiting is one of the hardest things I've ever had 2 do. However, I am VERY thankful 4 the waiting process. God reminded me 2day, He matures & grows me n the waiting. Just like n John 11, Mary & Martha had 2 wait on Jesus 2 raise their brother Lazarus from the dead. In the waiting, it is 4 God's glory, 4 our growth, & 4 the good of others. I will have 2 say, I didn't understand fully 2yrs ago what n the world God was doing by calling us 2 plant a church, but I'm learning the "why" daily. I don't understand why God has not sold our home after 2 yrs, but I'm learning. I don't understand all the reasons & responsibilities of leadership, but I'm learning. I don't understand why n a lot of areas, but I'm learning. I'm learning God's Word & my mentors r helping 2 push me 2 glorify God more & more. It's not always a pretty picture. Sometimes it hurts, then other times, it is beautiful. Jesus had an already done faith. John 11:41-42 "Father, I thank u that u have heard me. I KNEW that u always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that u sent me." These words from Jesus r helping me understand the waiting. Could Jesus have healed Lazarus immediately? Yes. Yet, Mary & Martha would not have matured n their faith, nor God get the degree of glory necessary. I don't understand everything that happens w/our home, leadership, our boys, etc... But this one thing I know....it is all 4 the GOSPEL. For others 2 believe. John 11:45 says "many of the Jews therefore, who had come w/Mary and had seen what he did, believed n Him." The uncomfortable. The waiting. The hard. The beauty. The joys. The trials. All will see what HE is doing & believe n Him.
